SMS Alert for ATM Card Transactions
To comply with the requirements of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the Bank has implemented additional control measures to enhance the security of local and overseas ATM card transactions. A SMS alert^ will be sent to your mobile phone recorded in the Bank for any of the below completed ATM card transaction exceeding the threshold amounti set by the Bank in order to help you understand account activities as early as possible. Please ensure your mobile phone information recorded in the Bank is correct.
- Made overseas transactionsii after local transactionsiii conducted by the same card shortly
- Conducted consecutive transactions in a short period of time
- Transaction (such as cash withdrawal and purchase) close to the daily transaction threshold amount
- Overseas ATM cash withdrawal
- Conducted UnionPay purchase
i EPS purchase and cash withdrawal and PPS account registration are not applicable to Chong Hing Card (Renminbi). The Bank may change the transaction threshold amount setting according to the actual situation from time to time.
ii Overseas transactions includes overseas purchase and overseas ATM card cash withdrawals
iii Local transactions includes but not limit to Balance Enquiry and Change of Personal Identity Number (PIN) etc.
^ If you have activated SMS forwarding service provided by your mobile service provider, the SMS alert will be sent to your mobile phone recorded in the Bank and the number being forwarded.

Notes:
- Handling fee of RMB15 per transaction will be charged upon RMB note withdrawal via UnionPay ATM machines in Mainland China.
- The limit of overseas ATM cash withdrawal of your Chong Hing Card (Renminbi) will be pre-set as RMB0, you are required to activate the Overseas Transaction Activation function by setting the daily limit and its validity period in advance via the Bank's ATMs or Chong Hing Bank Internet Banking Services.
- Details of the promotional offers and use of Chong Hing Card (Renminbi) are bound by relevant terms and conditions.
- Chong Hing Bank reserves the right to change the above offers and services without prior notice.
