Vice President, Credit Policy & Analytics
Responsibilities:
- Formulate, review and update the Bank's credit policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure all documents are up-to-dated and adhere to statutory and regulatory requirements
- Review and update the new guidelines, regulations and policies released by the regulatory bodies applicable to the Bank's credit risk management
- Coordinate responses and follow-up actions of the findings and recommendations by the auditors and regulatory bodies
- Coordinate the changes to existing policies with key stakeholders for approval
- Handle regular and ad-hoc bank reporting and bank-wide projects
- Perform other ad hoc projects or assignments
Requirements:
- University graduate in Finance, Economics, Risk Management or related disciplines
- CFA, Accountant and/or FRM is a plus; and HKIB ECF-CRM
- Min 8 years’ banking experience, particularly in credit policy and credit monitoring
- Expansive knowledge of credit risk requirement and credit policy
- Familiar with Banking Ordinance, HKMA SPMs, BELR, and BASEL
- Sound knowledge of general credit products, lending principles as well as awareness of credit risk issues and market practice
- Strong analytical skill and multi-tasks handling ability
- Well-versed in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Conversant with MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing
