Chong Hing Bank Personal Internet Banking Services Enhancement Notification

Thank you for using the Internet Banking Services and Mobile Banking Services (collectively, the "Internet Banking Services") of Chong Hing Bank Limited (the "Bank"). The Internet Banking Services has released the latest version on 27 October 2024 (the "Effective Date"). This version is mainly aimed at upgrading and optimizing Fixed Deposit and Currency Exchange services, and providing a faster and smoother customer experience. The upgrade details are as follows:

Upgrade Content

  1. Optimize Customer Experience of Fixed Deposit Rates Enquiry
   

To enhance customer experience, the layout and journey of Fixed Deposit Rates Enquiry has been optimized as follows:

  • Upon entering Fixed Deposit Rate Enquiry page in Mobile Banking, customer can select the currency and deposit amount on the same page to enquire the rates;
  • When placing a Fixed Deposit via Mobile Banking, after selecting the currency, entering deposit amount and promotion code (if any), customer can immediately check the relevant rates while entering the Fixed Deposit Rate Enquiry page;
  • When placing a Fixed Deposit via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking, the relevant interest rates will be displayed simultaneously when selecting the deposit tenor.


  2. Add Button in Currency Exchange for Buy/Sell Currency Switching
   

To facilitate customer in conducting currency exchange, a new button is added for customer to switch the sell/buy currencies and accounts by one click.

Optimize Search Function by Supporting 3 Languages

   

To allow customers to search different functions more flexibly, Mobile Banking supports trilingual search. For example, searching with “FPS” or “转数快” on the Traditional Chinese version can get the results of “轉數快” related functions.

Optimize “Activation of Personal Internet Banking Services” Layout and Add New Reminder

   

To provide clearer guidance for customers to activate Personal Internet Banking services and enhance customer experience, the "Activation of Personal Internet Banking Services" function has been optimized as follows:

  • Add instructions to guide customers on required information for Personal Internet Banking Services activation;
  • Add reminder for the input box of Hong Kong Identity Card number to facilitate customers to enter the information accurately.
