Chong Hing Bank Online Time Deposit Referral Programme - Terms and Conditions
| 1. | This Referral Programme (“Promotion”) is available from now until 31 December 2022 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”). | ||||||||||
| 2. | Chong Hing Digital Banking (“Digital Banking”) refers to Chong Hing Mobile Banking or Internet Banking Services. | 3. | The referrer of this Promotion (“Referrer”) must be an existing personal “Digital Banking” customer holding a savings and/or current account (single authority) of the Bank. | ||||||||
| 4. | Both “Referrer” and “Referee” should fulfill the “Eligibility” listed below to enjoy the “Referral Rewards”:

b. "New Customers" refers to customers who have not held a single-name and/or joint-name account with the Bank 12 months prior to account opening (only holder of credit card account is exempted). |

| 5. | "Preferential Interest Rate” refers to the interest rates of “Designated Fixed Deposit” placed via Chong Hing “Digital Banking” at which the eligible “Referee” enters the exclusive referral code of the “Referrer” provided by the Bank. “Designated Fixed Deposit” refers to the successful placement of successful placement of 6 months HKD / USD Fixed Deposit (in a single transaction). The fixed deposit amount and interest rates are listed as follows*:

| 6. | Each “Referrer” may refer more than one “Referee”. The “Referral Rewards” for the eligible “Referrer” is unlimited. Failure to become the eligible “Referrer” will not be notified by the Bank. “Referrer” who registers for “Digital Banking” for any account under his/her own personal name (or joint-name) will not be counted. | ||||||||||
| 7. | Eligible "Referee" can only enjoy the above "Referral Rewards" with "Preferential Interest Rate" for "Designated Fixed Deposit” once in this Promotion using each valid and exclusive referral code. | ||||||||||
| 8. | Directors and employees of the Bank can only be “Referrers” but not “Referees”. | ||||||||||
| 9. | Eligible “Referrer” and “Referee” shall maintain his/ her Chong Hing “Digital Banking” in valid status and of good standing on or before 30 December 2022. | ||||||||||
| 10. | If a “Referee” predetermines or uplifts his / her ““Designated Fixed Deposit” before the maturity placed in this Promotion, both “Referrer” and “Referee” will not be granted any “Referral Rewards”. No interest will be payable for such fixed deposit and a premature uplifting charge may also be charged to the “Referee” by the Bank. | ||||||||||
| 11. | All “Referral Rewards” cannot be transferred, returned, exchanged for other reward or converted into cash. | ||||||||||
| 12. | All particulars of the “Designated Fixed Deposit” eligible for purpose of the Promotion including its transaction date, transaction time and transaction amount will be based on the Bank’s records, which shall be conclusive. The Bank’s final decision in case of dispute shall be binding on the “Referrer”, “Referee” and customers (save that caused by the Bank’s manifest error, fraud or negligence). | ||||||||||
| 13. | The “Referral Rewards” granted by the Bank will be credited to any savings or current account of the eligible “Referrer” with the Bank on or before 31 March 2023. To be eligible for the “Referral Rewards”, the eligible “Referee” (a) must not have terminated or withdrawn the relevant “Designated Fixed Deposit” prematurely, and (b) must maintain a valid Chong Hing “Digital Banking” account which is of good standing at the time when the “Referral Rewards” are credited thereto; otherwise the “Referral Rewards” shall be cancelled or deemed as waived automatically without any notice, in which case the eligible “Referee” and his/ her “Referrer” will not be entitled to receive the “Referral Reward” in all circumstances. | ||||||||||
| 14. | “Referee” must enter the correct referral code to enjoy the “Preferential Interest Rate” for “Designated Fixed Deposit”. The system will not be able to proceed with an invalid referral code. | ||||||||||
| 15. | The Bank may from time to time suspend, vary or terminate the Promotion and the related offers and amend these terms and conditions without any notice. The decision of the Bank on all matters relating to the Promotion, the eligibility of “Referral Rewards” and the related offers, including but not limited to the relevant rewards and offers of participants, shall be final and binding. | ||||||||||
| 16. | The Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance shall not apply to the Promotion, the related promotion and the Reward, these terms and conditions and/or matters ancillary thereto. | ||||||||||
| 17. | The Promotion shall be available within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region only. These terms and conditions including the Promotion are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. | ||||||||||
| 18. | In case of any inconsistencies between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail. |
